Licensed restoration companies, from the state registers
Every listing here comes from an official state licence register and carries the licence number, so you can verify it yourself before hiring. No pay-to-rank, no reviews-for-sale: the register is the register. Companies holding a CURRENT Texas mold remediation company licence, as published by TDLR. Listings are unclaimed public-register entries; a licence covers mold remediation only.
By state
More states join as their licence registers are ingested; states without a mold licensing programme are noted rather than padded with unverifiable listings.
How to verify a licence before hiring
- Take the licence number from the listing and look it up on the state regulator's own search; the source link at the foot of every page goes to the register we ingested.
- Check the status is current and the expiry date has not passed. Registers here list current licences as of the retrieval date shown, but a licence can lapse between refreshes.
- Match the licensed name to the name on your quote. Trading names differ from registered names; a mismatch is a question to ask, not necessarily a problem.
- Remember what the licence covers. A mold remediation licence speaks to mold work only; ask separately about water extraction or reconstruction, and about liability insurance, which licensing does not verify.
